Audio System

The presenter has a choice of hand held or lapel worn radio microphone for vocal reinforcement.  This in turn is fed through a distributed ceiling mount network of Bose loudspeakers ensuring excellent audience coverage and intelligibility.

Hearing Impaired System

Both rooms are equipped with hearing impaired systems (deaf aid loops).  These systems cover the full footprint of the room and are equipped to reproduce not only the presenter but also the general ambience of the room and questions from the floor.

Video System

The seminar/training rooms have a fully integrated video network that offers VCR and DVD playback via a ceiling mounted projector.  In addition, input facilities are provided for a lap-top or PC.  All video sources are fed through appropriate signal processors ensuring convenient and seamless switching.

SMART Technology

Maximising the power of projector, computer and whiteboard, each room is provided with SMART technology.

The interactive whiteboard allows the presenter to free him or herself from the workstation.  Contact with the whiteboard is converted into mouse clicks or electronic ink, and it is even possible to use a finger as a mouse or write notes on the durable low-reflective surface.

Other features include the ability to control the computer directly via the screen, to save, print or e-mail notes and highlight key information with easy to use tools.  In non-interactive mode, the whiteboard can be used as a standard writing surface or as an excellent projection surface.

The SMART Board interactive whiteboard transforms the space into an interactive working, training and learning environment.

Control Network

To complete the fully integrated experience each room comes complete with an environment control processor.  With a user-friendly colour touch panel, the presenter can take control of all the equipment provided to create an ideal environment for the presentation.

This control extends to source selection of the audio and video elements, switching of the signal processing to route the desired images to the projector, volume control for the radio microphone, closing/opening of the blinds, and dimming of the lighting within the room.

All this control is available at the touch of a virtual button.
