The Practice operates a policy of Zero Tolerance.
The Partners and management value the Staff and will take action if abuse of any kind takes place.
Physical abuse will result in the Police being called. The offender will be removed from the Practice list with a recommendation that they are transferred to the violent patient scheme, which will mean exclusion from General Medical Services.
Abuse in any other form - aggressive behaviour or verbal abuse either in the Practice or over the telephone - will result in that person being removed from the Practice list.
Our Staff deserve respect and we do not believe that they should have to tolerate abusive behaviour.
