The three Reception Departments of Windsor House Group Practice are managed by Ms Elizabeth Field assisted by our Senior Receptionists, Mrs Tracy Smith and Mrs Lynn Smith.
Receptionists
Mrs Michelle Collins, Mrs Diane Furness, Mrs Ann Kinsey, Mrs Susan Ward, Mrs Jackie Bray, Ms Lynne Kershaw, Mrs Deborah Foster and Mrs Deirdre Taylor.
Our Receptionists have a demanding and difficult job, but are here to help you and will always deal with your requests as efficiently as possible. When the surgery is busy this can occasionally take time so please try to be a patient patient.
Secretaries
The Practice has two Secretaries, Mrs Wendy Oughtibridge and Mrs Judith Duffield, working from Windsor House Surgery, who handle all correspondence for our Doctors.
Together they run the department processing all hospital referrals, as well as the completion of reports requested by insurance companies and outside agencies with regard to mortgage applications, life assurance and pensions, disabled parking badges and other social services enquiries.
They also have responsibility for the organisation of outreach clinics provided at Adwalton House Surgery and make arrangements for medical examinations needed for pre-employment, physical sports and heavy goods vehicle licences.
Administrators
Mrs Debbie Dobson handles all repeat prescriptions. She is based at Windsor House Surgery and is happy to help by liaising between clinincians and patients if problems or queries arise in relation to repeat medications.
Miss Jenny Field has specific responsibilities for patient registrations and general administration along with audit to deliver Department of Health requirements. She is based at Windsor House Surgery.
Mrs Margaret Armstrong is based at Adwalton House Surgery and provides administrative support to Mrs Lawson by providing written copy for internal publications and externally published media. She edits the Practice website and is responsible for the preparation and upkeep of policies, protocols and procedures on behalf of the Practice. Since 2008, Margaret has conducted medical audits producing reports on the findings for the Partnership. She also maintains the medical library.
Domestic Staff
The three surgeries are cared for by a dedicated domestic team comprising Mrs Angela Lockwood, Mrs Sarah Richardson and Miss Catherine Liversidge who are supported by Mr Norman Scarth, the Caretaker.
