Adwalton House is situated on Wakefield Road in the village of Drighlington, which lies between Leeds and Bradford.
The surgery was newly built in 2004 and offers superior primary care consulting suites for all areas of the NHS and alternative medicine therapies. A particular feature of the building is the provision of a dedicated medical library and two large training rooms equipped with state-of-the-art electronic audio-visual aids.
The Practice was honoured to welcome HRH The Duke of York to perform the opening ceremony for Adwalton House Surgery in July 2004.

Clinicians
Wherever possible all clinical personnel attend at each surgery location on a regular basis so that all patients have an opportunity to see the doctor or nurse of their choice. The Receptionists will be able to confirm when a clinician is scheduled to be at a particular surgery.
Appointments can be made by calling in at the Surgery or by telephone. Please note that all telephone calls are recorded for training and security purposes.
Staff
As a group practice our Staff work at the three different surgeries from time to time, but for continuity they each have a base.
The surgery is managed by Ms Elizabeth Field assisted by Mrs Tracy Smith, Senior Receptionist, and Receptionists Mrs Jackie Bray and Ms Lynne Kershaw.
Mrs Margaret Armstrong provides administrative support to Mrs Lawson providing copy for internal publications and externally published media. She is responsible for the preparation and upkeep of policies, protocols and procedures on behalf of the Practice and also maintains the medical library.
Attached Personnel
To complete the team working from Adwalton House Surgery we have the services of District Nurses, Health Visitors, Community Midwives and Counsellors who will provide you with a comprehensive service.
Clinics
The Health Visitors run a clinic for baby-weighing only on alternate Fridays.
Orthopaedic referrals are seen by Mr Richard Grogan in his orthopaedic clinic at this Surgery.
Additional Facilities
As well as the first floor Training Suites which are suitable for seminars, conferences and meetings, there are three further suites available for private hire on the top floor of the building.
For further information regarding any of these facilities, please contact Mrs W Lawson or Mrs J Peel at Windsor House Surgery on 0113 252 5223.
